God's Design for You

God's design for our life is greater than our own.

He designs intricacies we could never create for ourselves.

If we stay open and in His will our lives will be infinitely better.

 

There’s a delicious feel of autumn in the air today.

There’s a few leaves falling and a slight coolness to the skin.

Hope returns for me in the fall.

Holidays close in and maybe family gatherings.

Peace and contentment tempt me.

Stillness arrives.

I sit quietly and meditate on possibilities.

Tired of Satan’s lies

I will not listen

 

Comforted by Jesus Christ

I will rest

 

Fed up with Satan’s tricks

I will not look

 

Blessed by God’s goodness

I will give thanks

 

Annoyed with Satan’s persistence

I will not notice

 

Strengthened by the Holy Spirit’s presence

I will persevere

 

Sick of Satan’s behavior

I will not accept

 

Established in Christ’s Jesus’ truth

I will stand firm

 

Exasperated with Satan’s deception

I will not acknowledge

 

Fortified by the Trinity

I will go forward
