Back on my deck this morning (after winter) for devotions and I felt like I didn’t know what to do first. It was like I never spent time alone with God before.

Where do I start?

Listen.

How long?

Till speaks to me.

What should I say?

Answers to life’s misery

Why says “bye” first?

Me. God would never say “bye”. He never leaves me.

When do I start over?

As often as needed.

Why do this devotion thing?

Because I need to feel closer to God every moment of every day.

God's already there...all you must do is......

God is always present

God is with us always

God is there
be silent and listen
God is talking
be humble
God is merciful

God is there...always

He is always there!

With God in our heart


We are never apart.


For where we are He is;


We are always His.


Giving his support and love


And all good gifts from above;


Without Him I would surely fall


But can't since He is my All.


With Him I will always stay


Following him the rest of my days.


He gives me joy and peace


With which my worries release.


Filled with His spirit


Lifting my own spirit;


Fearing not the unknown


Rejoicing in Him, my safety zone.

God is always there!

the world may stress you at every angle
but God will still be your fortress
people may get on your last nerve
but God will be your serenity
responsibilities may overwhelm you
but God will be your focus
fear may attack every cell of your body
but God will always be with you
hope may be a distant dream
but God will be your power every day
solitude may be your wish
but God is your quiet strength

Don't let details make you miss God's presence...

(so many times we miss God's presence in our lives but....)

Even if I don't see God physically on the bench beside me,

I know His is there.

He is in the gentle spring air.

He is in the bounty of blooms.

He is in the blue expanse of sky.

Even if I don't hear His audible voice say "Morning",

I know He is there.

He speaks through the birds calming chorus.

He says my name through the voice of a friend.

He talks to me through scripture.

Even when I don't feel His tender spirit,

I know He is there.

He gives me an embrace through a loved one.

He sends peace through an amazing sunrise.

He assures me I am not alone through a

still quiet moment when my head is bowed.

God is always there, here, and everywhere.
