Ash Wednesday

what to give up?
anger
judgement
complaining
hate
doubt
fear
worry

what's on your list?

what to take on?
more prayer
more Bible study
kindness
understanding
love
forgiveness

what's on your list?

just let go

Often times, the more we surrender to God,
the greater our ability to see His hand in our life.

surrender old ways and look forward to the future

Surrender to what is.
Let go of what was.
Have faith in what will be.

Surrender all to God

He's up for it!
At times like these with Mom showing progression in Alzheimer at Carillon, my uncle Jerry's cancer back, my son and daughter-in-law starting a long cross country trip, and my husband and I trying to decide if we can finally build our dream home or just retire in the house he grew up in....
I HAVE TO SURRENDER IT ALL TO GOD.
He can handle all I can't.
He can fix everything I break.
He can carry my heaviest burdens.
He can bless my family in ways I could never dream.
Thanks God.
I love you!

mountain top conversion

Where is my mountain top experience when I live in the deepest valleys?

Where is my ocean front peace when I cling to the depths of despair?

Where is my faith and courage when I dangle on locations of fear and doubt?

Where is my hope and joy when I allow life’s troubles to capture me?

Where is my beliefs and strength when I sink into self dug pits?

It’s all within my heart if God lives there.

It’s part of my soul if Christ’s resides in me.

It’s part of my spirit if the Holy Spirit is given full reign.

So when do I surrender?
