Hope--Not Alone

Lord,

I can’t go it alone.

You must go before me.

If You can answer all the prayers of those I lift up each day,

Then I need nothing more.

Carrying these prayer needs is a burden that hurts me daily.

I know You oh Lord are busy meeting every single need.

I thank You humbly.

I need only trust

Your way, Your truth, Your life.

I am depending on You.

You are with us and assure us minute by minute

In Your stillness

It’s time for me to leave the past behind and walk boldly into tomorrow

Beauty and truth awaits

I will increase my faith

With Your wisdom

Your presence

Trample my enemies

Protect those I love

Help me accept your will

These difficult times teach us patience and peace in the things that matter.

Even with the world staying home and waiting out the Coronavirus, there are positives: less political ads, more prayer, less anger, more grace

Maybe God should place His Divine Order TO STAY HOME IN HIS WORD no and after the Coronavirus. We are not to forget His mercies and goodness.

 In His stillness, we find: hope, healing, peace, joy, comfort, strength and blessings.

A perfect Christian (unlikely) in this lifetime.

 

In all the sweetness of blue skies, birds, and prayers, I suddenly smell a skunk. Satan is attacking my quiet time on my deck this morning BUT GOD STILL WINS! EVERYTIME!

simplest Prayer

Prayer is easy. Call on God. Speak you praise, confessions, needs and gratitude. He will do the rest. you don't need fancy words. Really all you need is to speak the name of Jesus. He already knows our situations. Always take time to listen as well. He will answer through spirit, scripture, and others.

I am saddened byt our world.

The world is so cruel. Why don’t we let GOD rule?  He can do it all but we must be willing to work for Him.  Crime. Drugs. Hate. Anger. Sex. Alcohol. LGBTQ. SIN! All sin! When will we just speak up and be the Christians we claim we are.
Churches are becoming entertainment centers.
Families are becoming time management conglomerations.
Jobs are not careers and callings.
Schools are run by administrators afraid to stand up for education.
Neighborhoods are bed and breakfasts.

Old adages and models are considered obsolete in today’s world. Old fashion even. Christianity, salvation, heaven, and hell are not obsolete or old fashion. They are real. They are important. No matter what they are real. Live right or not we will all die eventually and heaven is where we want to be. Not hell. Those are the only two choices. People better get real. There is an afterlife and hell is not where anyone wants to be. It’s hot. It’s fiery. It’s uncomfortable.  It’s painful.  The Bible is not a folk tale. It’s filled with truth.  It’s filled with love. It’s filled with guidance. It’s filled with answers this world needs. NOW! It’s so simple. It’s basic. How do we get the world on board? It takes compassion. It takes hope. It takes effort. It takes commitment. It takes a change of heart and a deep faith.

How do we fix this world?

Each and every person.

Get on your knees.
Ask for God’s forgiveness.
Commit yourself to Him and His will.
Go out and share His word and truth.
Ask Him to give you opportunities to show His importance to a broken world.

concern for our world

I am a life long member of the United Methodist church. Today we gave up our Sunday school hour to hear about THE WAY FORWARD, options the United Methodist Conference is considering. The obvious questions concern the LGBTQ group. In my heart of hearts I know what the Bible says. I believe in God's infallible word. God does not make mistakes. People do. Why must we change our views to accommodate people with sinful ideas. I know many who feel this way. I know a few who don't.

I don't know why we should even have to talk about it.

WORLD, it is time to study, pray and know the word and will of God the Father of Heaven and Earth. Please pray with me this can be approached as God would and that the Christian values are not compromised.

God meets needs when we are faithful

Pray the truth!

Lord, your are awesome, unbelievably kind and divine. you have helped me through some of life's greatest tragedies and will get me through the rest. you have blessed me with more than I deserve, all that I need and most of what I want. you have answered all my prayers. You never leave me alone unless I walk away. I am unworthy but you honor me and help me be a better person. You have saved me, protected me and loved me even when I have ignored you. you have done the same for all my friends and family...all believers. you also care for the stranger. Your mighty hand is constantly at work. I love you. you love me. in your precious son, Christ's name, Amen.

As long as I can find time to pray, I can make it through life.

As long as I can find time to study God’s word, I can survive life’s curves.

As long as I can find time to create art, I can endure the day to day challenges.

As long as I can find time to express my thoughts, I can persevere through life.
