What better way to learn than to teach? What better way to receive empathy than to express compassion? What better way to be heard than to listen? What better way to feel appreciated than to show appreciation?
Thirsty? God can quench. Hungry? Feed on God’s word. Broken? God’s love can repair. Forgotten? Not by God . Alone? Not if filled with God’s spirit. Hurt? God can take it away. Burdened? God will carry it. Tired? God will give you strength. Unheard? God is always listening. Insomnia? God never sleeps; lie down in peace. God can meet all needs. We must discern need from want. He answers all prayers even when we think not. Maybe we don’t see the answers he deemed correct.
These two sections were written on different days. Just take them as they come. Each day will be different! --------------------------------------------------
The light has left her. She slowly learns about her needs, her vacant, unsated needs. She dreams of remarkable passion but only has the words and images. She hopes for serene quiet days and nights but finds them not. She believes in truth and love but it seldom comes her way anymore. She expects life to improve but the same old troubles and pain haunt her daily-hourly. She probably needs professional help but is it possible?
I hear my little neighborhood wren this morning. It’s cheery song calls me to have hope. Cheery bird melodies give encouragement. I heard an owl. It’s steady lonesome call gave comfort. Alone with God is comfort. Alone with God is peace.
With God in our heart We are never apart. For where we are He is; We are always His. Giving his support and love And all good gifts from above; Without Him I would surely fall But can't since He is my All. With Him I will always stay Following him the rest of my days. He gives me joy and peace With which my worries release. Filled with His spirit Lifting my own spirit; Fearing not the unknown Rejoicing in Him, my safety zone.
If I can just trust faith, I can make it. If I can just maintain hope, I can make it. If I can just believe in prayer, I can make it. If I can just accept life, I can make it.
If I can just keep peace, I can make it! With God, I CAN MAKE IT!
