Home is where my soul is!

My hands reach for wisdom

But I only find more questions.

My heart reaches for compassion

But I only feel heartbreak.

My spirit reaches for hope

But I only know more frustration.

My soul reaches for joy.

But I only drown in sadness.

I will reach for God and

He will grab me and I will be comforted

Finding the wisdom, compassion, hope and joy I need.

Life's burning questions....

Does crying only last for the night and joy cometh in the morning?
Can faith move mountains?
Are all prayers heard?
Are all things possible with hope?
Should we keep dreaming impossible dreams?
How many Christians truly trust and obey?
How long can grace be amazing?
more to come.......

Faith talk

to keep smiling
despite sadness
to keep believing
despite doubt
to keep praying
despite fatigue
to keep faith
despite fear

At years end...

As the year ends
I think of how hard it was but
I survived,
seeking balance and releasing negatives;
Trusting God and prayer;
believing Christ and holding on to the Spirit.
May I continue into 2011 and
learn the difficult lesson that I have
another great gift--freedom of choice.
I may not be able to choose every situation
but I can choose my reaction to any situation.

Release Year End Peace in your Life!

the silence
quiets my restless mind
peace and balance
my heart finds
the peace
stills my soul
leading me closer to healing
the balance
rights my heart
giving me hope for
the serenity
I so desperately seek

Today is Christmas! A time of peace, joy, hope and miracles.
Know this. Believe this. Trust this.
Expect beauty and grace into your life today and everyday.
As the year ends I have much to be thankful for. I have many blessings of friends, family, and miraculous events.
My prayer for you is that you will spend these slower days of the holiday season
realizing your own blessings, finding your own peaceful pauses, and sharing all your blessings with all those you love and appreciate.
Have a most holy Christmas!
Remember Christmas is Christ's birthday!

Questions from the face

Fatigue and sadness
spill from my eyes.
Unbelief and despair
flatline with my mouth.
I begin to wonder why am I here.
Does my life have purpose?
Why was I born?
Will smiles and hopes and dreams ever return?
Will true joy ever grace my face again?

Having is a choice.....

Finding hope in a hurting world is not the easiest task.
Growing faith in a doubting time is almost impossible.
Believing grace in a confusing society is difficult at best.
Trusting love in an angry populace is rough to do.
HOWEVER.......
Having hope in a hurting world is a choice of the spirit.
Having faith in a doubting time is a choice of life.
Having grace in a confusing society is a choice of the soul.
Having love in an angry populace is a choice of the heart.

An early wakening.

Dreams loom in my head.

Expectantly I breathe.

A wonder of the season.

My life is blessed.

How often I forget that fact. How often I forget to give thanks. My blessings are too many to forget so why do I let pride, envy and entitlement take over. I have all I want. I have much I need. I have a voice, a mind, a heart, an ear and a spirit to take it. All in express time. Gratitude for all the gifts I have. Gifts of family, friends, God, creativity, shelter, sustenance, and clothing. Eyes to see God’s beauty. Ears to hear His songs. A mind to comprehend His words. A heart to feel His love. A soul saved by Him. A spirit to spirit existence with Him. Yes, I am blessed beyond belief. I humbly say Thanks.

On allowing....

I will not allow life's tolls to rob my spirit.
I will not allow ungodly things to rule my breath.
I will not allow trouble to separate me from God.
I will not allow other's drama to jade my beliefs.
I will not allow Satan to step into my thoughts.
With God, I am strong enough to follow through.
