I seek a holier life.
I pursue a happier existence.
I search for a calmer way of living.
I strive for a restful soul.
I try to have a joyful spirit.
I want a simpler time.
I work toward a grace only God can extend.
I aspire to live a holier life.
By the time a person is 60 pus, (sixty three nearly sixty
four myself), one becomes aware of what matters, family, God and day to day
life; quiet days, restful nights, God’s guidance, and time with family.
I went with my husband to his 50th high school
reunion. Seeing the aging, loss of health, loss of life, and love of family and
friends; these are the things that matter. These are the things that we value.
These are the things we fight for all of our life and hope to have in the end.
The final years.
It seems to me that we waste the majority of our life chasing
after things that don’t matter; accumulations, success, fame, and
recognition. Then one day, we realize we
have very little time left and the time we do have is speeding by and we have
missed much of it.
