Though my joints ache
and my nerves are on edge,
God is my healing.
Even though my mind swims
and my spirit spins
God is my steadying device.
My heart lurches
and my body screams but
the Lord is my constant source.
My days linger
and my nights drag but
God is my timepiece.
My thoughts loop
and my words fail but
God is always faithful.
