I seek a familiar face.
God is my only companion and
He is much too silent.
Does He expect me to find
My way on my own?
Does He want me to ask
Him for directions?
Does He want me to realize
I am not alone?
He is by my side.
Found on a lonely stretch of road
God is a friendly face and guide.
