Everyone finds themselves on a ridge from time to time.
They grasp and gasp and try to hold on.
Life attempts to push them over the edge.
Faith is there to hold them back.
They survive only to find themselves there again too soon.
Prayer and scripture continues to save them.
What will happen if their faith wavers,
Or their prayers cease,
Or they forget the verses?
Heaven only knows.
