The winter bird
is wisest of all,
He sits on high
where he observes the world.
Both good and bad
he sees all and knows,
understands the whys,
ponders the hows;
he tells us what
to value and share.
He shows us where
to go and grow.
He guides us to whom
we should all follow-
the Christ Child.
