survival of the artist

Art is my therapist.
Watercolor quenches my thirst.
Journaling feeds my soul.
Collage holds my psyche together.
Sketching expresses my spirit.
I paint life in rose color shades and blue hues.
I escape life’s little crises by creating less than perfect images and delusional visions of hope.
I will never lose the last piece of my mind as long as I have art to insulate my weak little neurons from destruction.
A little paint, paper, glue, scripture, prayer, faith, hope and Celexa keep me steady on my feet moving from day to day.
I fit the pieces of life together like a puzzle using any adhesive necessary and available to keep me from falling apart.
